I started my furniture art business on a lark. I had worked in real estate for many years then one morning, without warning, I couldn't get out of bed and was in excruciating back pain.
To make a long story short I was diagnosed with double herniated discs and had to leave my job and work family that I enjoyed very much.
After a year and a half of therapy and rest I took my life back. I went public with what came the most natural to me . . waking up vintage furniture. I had done this for years as a hobby but was now taking my wares to the Syracuse Junior League Holiday Shoppes. . .and the rest is history.
I hate having to go to sleep at night but I love getting up in the morning. To me there is nothing like reworking old pieces and even new pieces and turning them into beautiful works of art. I look forward to meeting more wonderful people along the way and will continue to pursue my passion, creating one-of-a-kind whimsical and refined hand painted pieces of art right here in my Baldwinsville studio.
